Shiitake extract – sawtooth oak mushroom (Lentinula edodes (Berk.) Pegler) pericarp extract standardized to 40% polysaccharides and 30% beta glucans [DER 25:1], BioPerine® black pepper fruit extract standardized to 95% piperine, capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.

Shiitake extract – What is it?

Shiitake mushrooms are popular in Far Eastern medicine and have been known there for centuries, and at some point also came to us, to Europe. Its name comes from the Shii tree, on which it is often found in Asia. It has a very intense flavour.
