What is CBD Crystal?
CBD crystal is the crystalline form of the cannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD). It is this phytonutrient in its pure form, without other phytonutrients. A light, sometimes slightly milky crystal that may look like a lump of sugar or salt. It’s a self-existing cannabidiol, in isolate form.
You’ve probably heard of CBD isolates. CBD Crystal is just such a thing. It can be used to artificially enrich CBD products such as oils or dries. It can also be used to make CBD oils that contain only this one phytonutrient. CBD crystal is as much as 99% pure cannabidiol. All other compounds contained in hemp during the extraction process are removed, leaving only this one phytocannabinoid.
This is a product specifically for those who want to use only CBD alone. For example, for medical reasons, allergies to other compounds in hemp, or as an additive for cosmetics or vaporization.
CBD crystals – how to use them?
We mentioned vaporization, cosmetics, and enrichment of other products with CBD crystals. This is how CBD crystals are used. Let’s start with cosmetics.
In the cosmetics industry, it is usually CBD isolate that is used to make CBD cosmetics. Of course, there are CBD oil products on the market with the full spectrum of phytonutrients, such as our hemp cosmetics with natural hemp oil. However, many companies choose to add only crystallized CBD. Crystallized CBD dissolves well in oils and fats when heated, which is why it is such a popular addition to hemp cosmetics.
CBD crystals – how to use them?
The first method that is the simplest and most popular when it comes to using CBD crystal is vaporization. Already a really small piece of hemp crystal should be placed in the chamber of a vaporizer. When heated, the crystal changes to a liquid form and vapor is produced. In order to facilitate cleaning of the device, often the CBD crystal is used together with the CBD dried, to which it sticks after the end of the inhalation session. Then we can clean the vaporizer in a much easier way.
In our store you will find two types of vaporizers.
There is also a well-known method of enriching cosmetics with CBD crystal, even in the comfort of your home! All you have to do is heat the crystal to liquid form and mix it well in the cosmetic of your choice. And there you have it! We get cosmetics with CBD crystal content.
CBD crystal can also be added to food, especially fats. CBD butter, CBD oil and many other types of fats can be easily enriched with cannabidiol using hemp crystal. The heated and dissolved crystal simply needs to be combined with liquid fat and you’re done. Such products we can confidently add, for example, to prepared dishes or use in skin care (from the oil we can make, for example, a scrub with added CBD). [1]
There is no doubt that CBD crystal is a lesser-known hemp product, it may be a bit oddly associated, due to its appearance. However, if it’s a natural and tested product, it can really serve us in many ways! How to use CBD crystal is entirely up to us! There are many ways to use it.
